First of all a big Thank-you because you will have already been supporting the Parents Association by coming along to our school fairs, buying from our cake stalls or joining in with our no school uniform days. We couldn't raise any money without you!
There are also lots and lots of other ways you can get involved with the Parents Association. The events we organise need behind the scenes work and there are lots of jobs that you could help with from manning a stall for an hour to folding raffle tickets and drawing posters. Just one hour of your time would make a massive difference - and it doesn't have to be on the day of the event - the are often small jobs that need to be sorted in the preceding days and weeks.
Obviously everyone is busy - this is a first school so we all have young children! Coming along to our coffee mornings and contributing your ideas is really helpful too - we would love to see you.
It's also important to remember that this is not just about raising money - but spending it too! Teachers make requests for money for specific items but we can also make suggestions for things that we would like to spend it on - is there anything that you think would be a great addition to the school?
